Re: No notification after status change

Found it. Too bad nobody else seemed to know this...? The default config says: $g_default_email_on_new = ON; $g_default_email_on_assigned = ON; $g_default_email_on_feedback = ON; $g_default_email_on_resolved = ON; $g_default_email_on_closed = ON; $g_default_email_on_reopened = ON; $g_default_email_o...

No notification after status change

I have customised things like status and impact and am trying to get e-mail notification correct. So far without success. If I change an issue's status, Mantis doesn't always send an e-mail. Why not? I have set: $g_default_notify_flags = array('reporter' => ON, 'handler' => ON, 'monitor' => ON, 'thr...

Re: Custom email notification

I have the same issue. Some 2 years ago I stripped several blocks of code out of the source so that now it only sends the bug description and the action that has been performed on it. For the rest of the info, the recipient can click on the link and go to Mantis. Would be very nice to have something...

In reply to my own post... It turned out that the reporter who complained had two accounts on our system with the same e-mail address. One had reporter as access level, the second one had developer access. Problem was not in Mantis but between keyboard and chair :)

Fixed in 1.0.0?

I run 1.0.0rc1, but I have this same problem. Reporters can't see private bugnotes, but they do get the notification. According to #3824 and #3882 this should have been fixed.

I think it's possible, as Mantis includes a bunch of upgrade scripts. You might want to read this post: http://forums.mantisbt.org/viewtopic.php?t=814

Hi Alexandre, Forgive me if I misunderstand you, but I think you don't have to change anything. On the project management page you can add users and assign them an access level for that project. The access level you assign when adding a user to a project overrides his default access level. So if you...

If you're going for 1.0.0rc2, maybe you might want to have a look at bug #6338

I think the database has changed several times, but I've never had to touch it myself. Everything that needs to be done, is done by the update scripts. Just goto the /admin page after you installed the new version and run the scripts that are available. Don't forget to disable the /admin page once y...

Hmm, seems there are more people having this problem :)

In my rc2, administrators and managers can't see the docs, "lower" users can.

Hi, I'm not an LDAP guru, so I might be talking complete nonsense here. If so, please disregard this message :) It looks like your LDAP admin uses e-mail addresses to identify users (is that Active Directory btw?) instead of a login. If his scheme doesn't have unique fields like "uid" or &...

Hi, I don't know of any guides about upgrading, but I'll tell you how I do it. I started with 0.17.5 when I took this job, now I run 1.0.0rc1. When an upgrade is available, I download it and extract it into the same directory as where my current version is installed (/var/www). Then I compare the de...

Hi Ted,

That was a nice suggestion. I tried it with all levels of users we have here and found out that both manager and administrator can't see the documents, but other users can. Must be a problem in the access levels. I'll investigate further :)

Greetings,

Hans
